1. Who was in your critique group? What was it like working with this group?
My critique group was Ashley and Eli. I liked working in this group because I feel like I got two different types of feedback and I ended up using both of them and putting them into my final products.
2. What did you make in this project? What are a few things you learned?
I made a canvas for bullying, a stencil for cyber bullying and I wrote an essay for cyber bullying. I think I really learned that you should plan ahead of time because for some of my pieces I found myself rushing to finish them before time ran out. I think that if I were to redo it I would've planned out how and what I would use when I was making these, so then I would know exactly what I was going to do. It wouldn't be finished off of panic.
3. What went well in this project?
Even though it was really stressful, I think that I was most successful in my alternate art piece which was a canvas (the picture above) because I feel like I really put my opinion into it and made people realize what I was trying to say.
4. What struggles did you have and how did you overcome them?
One struggle I did have was that I couldn't come up with a background for my canvas. In the end I decided to make a tie die kind of pattern with green, red, and yellow. I chose to use these colors because I wanted to make the painting look happy and make people realize that good and happiness can come out of being kind and considerate to others.
5. What things did you do well concerning work ethic and what could you improve on?
I think that overall I did really well in getting my work done but I wish that in the beginning of the work times we were given, I would've worked a little faster and harder without getting distracted.
6. How would you change this project?
I would've made this project where you could've chosen one of three things to make from the Humanities side and everyone had to make a butterfly. That way some people would've had essays, some would have graffiti stencils, and the rest would've had some other kind of art piece. This way there would've been more variety and everyone would've had something different.
